Connex groups

There are eight Connex groups in Cornwall and Devon that have members aged between 13 and 19. Each group works on different projects depending on what is needed in that area and what they have planned for the future. These can be anything like coming up with new ideas for Connexions centres, designing logos and posters, and interviewing personal advisers.

Sometimes there are things that are discussed in the groups that they feel are important for all the groups so these issues go to a special group called the Young Persons Sub Group of the Board. This group meets four times a year and attend youth advisory group meetings to talk about these issues.
