Things to do

There's so much going on - so don't be afraid to try something new in your free time. You may even discover a hidden talent! Even if you don't, trying out new things can be fun and helps you meet new people.

Sport and fitness

Sport isn't just for star athletes. Just because you hated it at school, it doesn't mean you should rule it out now. There is such a wide range of sports and beginners are usually welcome - so, why not try something new?

To find out what you can do in your area, contact your local sports centre or look on Yell under Leisure Centres. You could also try Sport England which contains details of all the local clubs in your area.

Youth groups and clubs

There are hundreds of different activities and groups throughout Cornwall and Devon - too many to list here. Some groups will be especially for young people, others for people of any age who share the same interests.

Some groups may want you to become a member, others you can just dip in and out of. Contact your local centre which will have details of groups in your area.

You can also try your local county council website or:

Why not try your local Young Farmers' Club? Or have a look at the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.

And don't forget to check out our Get Involved section.
