Danny McGregor
Danny McGregor has worked within education and training and, particularly, the information, advice and guidance (IAG) sector over many years as a practitioner, trainer, adviser, consultant and quality assessor. He has considerable experience of assessment and working to quality standards not only through his role as an IiC Assessor but also in providing preparation support for MATRIX assessment and working as a member of OfSTED teams inspecting Connexions partnerships.
DfES and LSC contracts to provide consultancy services have included a wide range of research projects and performance assessment surveys with an emphasis on Information, Advice and Guidance for both young people and adults. Connexions Partnership assignments have included development of quality assurance systems and staff training and development projects for teachers and personal advisers.
Danny has a Masters Degree in Careers Guidance and is particularly experienced as an IiC Assessor having worked in this role for over 10 years visiting a wide range of secondary schools, further education colleges, special schools and primary schools in London, the South East and West of England.
Linda Kelly
Linda has had a wealth of experience working for local authorities and other public sector organisations, both as an employee, and,since April 1995, as a self employed consultant and trainer. She has experience of working both at a strategic level and in enabling practitioners to translate policy into practice when working with client groups. Her portfolio currently includes working as a senior lecturer at London South Bank University, teaching and assessing on their Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance/Qualification in Careers Guidance course and working as a Springboard Women's Development trainer with four different corporate clients in the public sector in London.
Linda has been an Investor in Careers assessor since 1995 and is currently working with a number of guidance providers in London and South East England. She has extensive experience of assessment of the CEG curriculum in mainstream schools, special schools and colleges of further education.
Linda is qualified as a teacher, as a careers adviser and as a trainer and has a Masters Degree in Education from the Open University. She is committed to lifelong learning, and is currently studying for a Doctorate in Education with London South Bank University.
Linda is a parent governor at her son's secondary school in North London and has CRB checks and Enhanced Disclosure. She is a Member of the Institute of Career Guidance.
Ian Hosker
Ian has been a specialist in IAG since 1990 following a career change from pure academic and curriculum developer to developer of IAG training and IAG service delivery from 1991. During this time, he has developed CPD programmes for IAG workers in community settings and an M.Ed. in Careers Education and Guidance for Careers Co-ordinators in secondary and further education. He is also a former chair of the Plymouth IAG operational delivery group, a member of the Cornwall and Devon strategy group, and sat on a number of other regional and sub-regional strategic and operational groups. In addition to IiC Assessment, his current work includes evaluating IAG provision, impact assessment, and most recently, research into the IAG needs of migrant workers and their families.
Ian is a Fellow of the RSA, for whom he is currently supporting a group of student council representatives in forming their own city wide Youth Forum in Exeter, and supporting the development of a number of other youth-focused initiatives.
He is also a Member of the Institute of Career Guidance, Fellow of the Institute for Learning, and a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Jeremy Cloke
Jeremy Cloke has taught in secondary schools for over thirty years. As an AST (Advanced Skills Teacher) and 14-19 /I.A.G. Consultant with Devon Education Services, in his current role he supports schools and colleges with all aspects of their Information, Advice and Guidance provision, with a particular specialism in Careers Education and Guidance programmes and 14-19 IAG.
He has a lead role in IAG practitioner diploma groups across Devon, co-ordinating IAG Diploma preparations in consortia across the county.
He is an Associate Trainer and Consultant with LSN (Learning and Skills Network), delivering Training and consultancy thoughout the south of England.
In addition he is an approved Assessor for the Investor in Careers quality award and offers support and Assessments for schools, colleges and Training providers nationally.
Current developments include:
- Devon e-ilp (electronic individual learning plan;)
- support for schools/colleges in auditing their provision against "National" Quality Standards for Young People's IAG.
Ashley Hayward
Since becoming self-employed in 2003 Ashley has undertaken work for various Connexions Partnerships, Local Authorities, the Learning and Skills Council, schools, colleges, universities and 14-19 Area Partnerships. He has undertaken and published a wide range of evaluation studies mainly within the fields of 14-19 education and training, IAG, work-related learning and enterprise.
He has designed and developed careers education and guidance programmes and local quality standards and has participated in a range of young people consultation exercises. He previously developed an accredited course for careers coordinators in association with the University of Central England, chaired the Executive Group of the former Coventry Education Action Zone and has developed curriculum materials reflecting changes and trends within the world of work.
He has been able to draw on 25 years of relevant experience as both a practitioner and manager providing services to clients across the ability range.
A psychology graduate, Ashley also possesses the Diploma in Careers Guidance, the A1 assessor's qualification and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Educational Studies.

Paul Summers
Paul taught full time for 33 years in a richly rewarding part of his continuing career. He has had a great deal of teaching experience and has successfully guided his school through the Investor in Careers process as well as retaining the award. He has a real sense of empathy with students and staff alike and he is well aware of the demands upon all involved in the education process.
Paul has been a keen, funny and active trainer alongside his teaching career. Paul's background as a lively classroom teacher and manager has provided him with a real practitioner's insight in to all aspects of the award, managing and teaching. Paul has actively served on the Cornwall and Devon Careers Council for many years. He has written papers on "Opening Minds" and has delivered resource based training with zest to teachers across Cornwall and Devon. He has always been very active in community groups and multi-agency bodies. Paul's imaginative sessions on successful teaching and learning have always been well received.

Lesley Miller
Lesley has a wealth of experience in the link between education and the world of work across London and the South East of England. Most recently she has managed Special Education Needs work within all the Schools in Greenwich including the liaison with other agencies across the Borough. In addition she has taken the lead in evaluating the achievement of standards in Information, Advice and Guidance in Greenwich schools. She is an experienced manager in a range of schools and in the Connexions Service, most recently has managed a team of Personal Advisers delivering information, advice and guidance in schools in the London Borough of Greenwich She is a National Trainer for the Real Game Series as part of the overall development of programmes of group-work based activity for Schools including citizenship and PSHE. She has lectured on group work on the Qualification for Careers Guidance programme at the University of East London
She has planned delivered and monitored the result of work experience programmes for the London Boroughs of Southwark and Lewisham and supported schools in Greenwich in the evaluation of their programmes. This has included the setting up of good quality relationships with local business education partnerships and delivering business simulations, role plays and placements for teachers.
Lesley is qualified as a teacher and careers adviser. She has extensive experience of assessment in mainstream schools, special schools and colleges of further education. She has a degree in Social Sciences; an Advanced Diploma in Special Education Needs; a Certificate in TEFL and is a NVQ Assessor for Education and Training. She also holds a Level B in Psychological Assessment.

Rosemary Sutton
Rosemary has worked in Careers education and Guidance for many years, first as a qualified Careers Adviser, and then as a senior manager within the careers service. She always took the view that careers education and guidance was an imperative for schools and colleges and throughout this time achieved considerable change through use of innovative resources and successful teacher training and support.
She has also worked as the Training Manager for a large charitable trust Careers company and developed her knowledge about quality awards and quality training and took responsibility for ensuring that all personal advisers and careers advisers were trained to the highest standards whilst achieving IIP for the company. She introduced NVQ assessments at level 3 and 4 and trained other assessors and internal verifiers. More recently she became the NVQ Centre Manager and internal verifier for the companies large NVQ centre.
Rosemary then took over the role of Careers Education and IAG Adviser and for the last 7 years has worked for her employer as a licensee for IIC , preparing both schools & colleges successfully for IIC assessment and reassessment. Rosemary is a Real Game trainer and holds Level A for Psychological assessment. She has an extensive knowledge of the IIC Quality standards for schools, colleges and training providers and linked with her passion for careers education and guidance and her experience in training careers staff and teachers has now become an IIC assessor. Rosemary has worked extensively in assessment of staff and careers education in London, East Anglia, Berkshire and Oxfordshire in her variety of roles over her long career.
